There had to be something wrong with Caleb. He hadn’t composed a good song for quite a while now, while during his normal mood, the male is always able to write a song per night. Maybe his life was too normal, there wasn’t exactly many thrilling things going on lately. Could he even call this a life? The only thing he was looking forward too was for his sister’s wedding, and he was exactly thrilled with that much. Once he got his life settled, it seemed as if it didn’t get unsettled ever again. But everyone’s life needs drama, right?
In search for inspiration, Caleb made his way to the Mira Costa Park, guitar on bag on, hanging on his back and a notepad and pen in his hands. The University was a little far from the Park, so, not yet having a car, the male had to take a bus. It is okay though, he isn’t one of those obnoxious kind of people who have something against public transport. No, he actually thought it was a nice thing, for if you used the public transport, it was one less car out polluting, and you could actually give someone else a job by paying the bus. If he was actually helping, then he was more then glad to do it.
Being now sat on one of the park's wooden benches, Caleb allowed himself to watch other people's life, as he waited for something inspiring to hit him. On his left hand rested a black pen and on his right he had his fingers positioned on top of an invisible guitar, while his real one was on the floor by his feet. As if he just had to wait for something to come and inspire him to write, Caleb stayed there, watching a dog ran after his little kid owner.
The weather wasn’t as hot as it had been the previous days, in a way you could even hope to be chilly by Christmas. Under those circumstances, the male wore a long sleeved light blue shirt and denim jeans, looking casual as always. He preferred of course to be casual and comfortable, as it always helped if you where comfy when you needed to write a plausible song.

What would you do if all of a sudden the most beautiful girl you had ever seen fell on top of you, practically sat on your laps? Good thing his guitar hadn’t been there, but only his note book, otherwise it would have been a bigger mess. All this time Caleb had been looking for inspiration to the wrong way, for if he had his neck turned to the other side he would have seen her sooner, and he would have been inspired without any of them having to be ashamed. Well, at least not her because he would have had to find a reason to bring up a chat with her before she was too far from him, but then again, he would have handled, probably.
Yes, this blonde angel had indeed inspired him, but not just because she fell on him, but because she was amazingly pretty and in fact had worked something up on Caleb. Shaking his head slightly as if to bring himself back from wherever land of wonderings he had been, the male blinked still looking at the young woman. “Oh, no, it is ok.. I mean, are you ok?” The male stood up, leaving his notepad aside and still looking at her, an unreadable expression on his face. You couldn’t tell if he was just concerned, or if fairly believing in love at first sight. But when Caleb thought about love at first sight he considered himself quite the idiot, for he didn’t use to believe on those things.
Whatever it was, she had inspired him, and he had a song on the tip of his fingers. Taking his eyes away from the female, he bent down, picking his pen from the floor and grabbing his notepad. “Do you mind to stay around just for a little bit?” Damn it, now she was probably thinking he was a stalker. “I mean…” Think Caleb, think! “Well…” There wasn’t a right word coming to him, so instead he began writing, words flowing from his fingers and pen as if he was only making lines.
The thing was, not only was he not just making lines, but he could also feel the rhythm, hear it in his head. Quickly writing all he could, Caleb took a moment to see if she was still there, then looked back down to his notepad. A few seconds later he had let go of the notepad and was instead grabbing the guitar, positioning his fingers on its cords and motioning them without even playing. This was Caleb memorizing the song, the song that he had just made thanks to a beautiful female who had fallen on him, as weird as it seemed. “Thanks, you just gave me inspiration for one of my best songs ever.” She is still there, right? Thought Caleb looking up as he put his guitar down again.

Yes, she was there. Great, but now that he actually confirmed that thought Caleb was feeling a little… well, embarrassed. He had gotten so thrilled with the idea of being so easily inspired that he had actually forgotten that he didn’t know the girl properly. Hopefully she wouldn’t ask to see the song, because he wouldn’t feel comfortable on letting her read it, hence it had been so… well, about her. He had barely noticed what she had been doing while he was writing, for he did get a bit too close minded when it came to writing or things that referred to him. It was as if his world closed whenever someone asked things about him that meant too much for him, such as... well, things about his personal life.
But she talked very sweetly, and her giggle made Caleb cool off a bit. “Yeah, you are” He admitted, chuckling slightly as well. His dark brown eyes looked back at her again, meeting with hers and struggling not to be pulled away. He noticed her hand being extended as she introduced herself, and he smiled back, admiring how much she looked like a porcelain doll. “I’m Caleb, nice to meet you, Xander” And he took it, shaking it gently as on his inside the male felt amazingly sociable. Her skin felt soft against his, the male couldn’t help but notice.
Usually Caleb wouldn’t act like this if he was into a girl, especially because the process of getting into certain girl would surely have taken longer then just a few seconds. But right now he felt the need to talk to her, to know more about her. Taking his eyes away from hers for a moment, he realized she drew for he could catch glimpse of her sketch book. Maybe she had come here in the search for inspiration too. Then he noticed she had just drawn something… It could have been inspiration for both, or just she already had in her mind. Caleb chose to believe the latest, in order to not make a fool of himself later on.
Noticing he hadn’t let go of her hand yet, Caleb’s eyes widened, his cheeks turned a burning red and he immediately loosen it. After letting her hand go quite discomfited, the male put his own hand around his neck, in a way he always did when he felt either embarrassed or out of place. “Hm… So,” He had to make the conversation go on, she was sat there right next to him, wasn’t she? “I take it you go to the local university too, right?” Damn, was that a silly subject, but even so, it was a start.
