we're smart enough to know better but we're young enough not to care. Jonas loved the sun. Maybe that was the reason why he decided to move back to Manhattan Beach. Sure, THE Jonas Scalini-Evans could stand any weather. He was sizzling. But the summer heat was his favorite kind of climate. After all, it gave everyone the excuse to wear as little clothing as possible. Jonas wasn't too built up like every other surfer boy, and he wasn't that tanned either. But hey, can't blame a New York boy for that. He was a genuine eastcoast whiteboy.
Jonas loved the thrill too. He enjoyed anything that was either fast or dangerous. It would've been amazing if it were both. So on this boring, sunny day, Jonas decided to hop on his friend's and wakeboard. It was more of a lake sport, but he wanted to try it with the oceanic waves. It was fast, and kind of dangerous. It was SO Jonas. "SHYEAH!" He hollered from his board, as he held on to the cord that attached him to the speedboat. His parents had paid for his medical expenses all his life, so he had nothing to worry about if he got injured. His parents also payed for all his thrill-ride. Who said money couldn't buy you happiness?
His hair was drying up from going against the wind, and his light skin was getting slightly sunburned. Jonas believed that real men didn't wear suntan. Real men wouldn't cry in pain if someone patted him on the back either, but Jonas didn't think about the future consequences of not loading up on his SPF. He wore nothing on the upper half of his body, baring his unsculpted, skinny abdominals. On the lower half of his body, he sported red and white boardshorts, lifeguard colors.
After riding the board for about only five minutes, Jonas formed an ear-to-ear grin, thinking about his next action. He turned his head back to see if any boats or surfers were in his way. Quickly, he let go of the cord and flipped backwards from his board, diving hard on the water. Sooner or later, his friend would notice that he stopped hanging on. Jonas stayed underwater for a while, then floated back up.
Jonas loved the sun.

Jude applied a coat of SPF 30 sunscreen all over her body, then asked a local to do her back for her. The local accepted to with a smile on his face, after all, this was Jude MacAbey we're talking about here. She was the most beautiful girl in all of Manhattan Beach. The only thing was, she didn't know it. But getting back to the present, the young male she had asked to rub sunscreen on her was finishing up. But before he finished, the boy stuck his hand up her bikini, freaking her out. "You little perv! What's wrong with you?" she shreiked. He backed away, knowing she could kill him, after all, she had pretty nice arm muscle. "Sorry babe, you're just so fucking hot," he smiled, walking away. This was the first time a stranger had done something that ridiculous to her. Other times, they had just pretended to graze past her breasts and such. Hopefully it wouldn't happen again, at least with a stranger.
Thoughts from her kiss with Rylet were racing through her mind as she pulled on some aviators. For some reason, she was starting to think he was just in it for the fun and flirting, not the long term relationship. She did love little flings, but not like Rylet did. He seemed to be one of those types of guys who would kiss you, then run. That's when she saw Jonas, out in the water wakeboarding. He's quite good she thought. But just as her eyes started to adjust to the sun, he had let go of the chord, sending him into the air. She giggled as always,. "Typical Jonas," she said to nobody in particular. Then she raced into the water to go see him. At first she started out in a breast-stroke, then broke into a freestyle. She couldn't wait to hang with him. After all, she was developing a huge thing for him. "Hey hot stuff, looks like you're having a good time cooling down!" she said confidently, since he was the only person she could talk openly without being conscience about things. Before he could answer though, a huge wave knowcked her over, and when she surfaced, she saw Jonas staring at her chest. Thats when she realized, her bikini top had come off somewhere in the crash of the wave.

"i like girls that wear abercrombie & fitch. i'd take her if i had one wish." He decided to float for a bit, enjoying the water, and then get hyped up for the next ride. When Jonas was in an adrenaline rush, he didn't want to stop. It was quite the addiction. Jonas really didn't need substances to get himself all pumped up and ... well, high. He was living the high life, of course with the help of his wealth and expensive insurance. He looked up at the sky, then back down at the water. Before he looked down at the water, he heard a familiar voice. Hey hot stuff, looks like you're having a good time cooling down! He grinned, and looked to where the voice came from. Jude had decided to keep him company on this hot day. He saw a wave coming, and merely rode it.
However, there was no such luck for Jude, who was knocked over. When she came back up, she was topless. He couldn't help but stare for awhile, before quickly recollecting his words. He chuckled, and gave his charm-smile. "Hah, looks like I'm not the only one who's too hot to handle. Looks like the water had to make a move on you," he joked. Jonas, for some reason, was extremely comfortable with Jude, even though he hadn't seen her for a year. When he moved back, they still seemed like the best of friends who could joke about ultimately anything.
But still, he couldn't help but admire Jude physically. Right now, her skin was glistening from the water, and her hair was wet. Eye candy she definitely was. And from that recent incident with the wave, he would remember that sight for the whole day... maybe even the week. He would definitely see her as more of a friend. "So are you here 'cause you're stalking me or something?" He grinned. "Or did destiny just bring us together?"

Jude couldn't help but forget she was topless as she laughed at him. "I guess so man," she giggled uncontrollably. The water was beginning to make her breasts very cold, so she came back down to earth, and tried to find her top. When she turned around though, Jonas was still staring right at her chest. She looked in his eyes till he quickly looked in hers, then looked back down. She laughed at this, "Naughty boy." Jude then went back to looking for her bikini, and there was a bit of an awkward silence until he spoke again.
"Stalking? Pshh. I'm guessing destiny," she smiled, flashing her perfectly white teeth. Then, another wave came crashing onto her, and the only thing she could only hold onto was Jonas. So here she was, off the shore of Manhattan Beach, topless, and practically lying on top of Jonas Scalini-Evans. What a day this was going to be.
"Still think its destiny?" she smiled, gazing in his eyes. Now she had made up her mind, she did love him. And more than a friend, that is.

"i like girls that wear abercrombie & fitch. i'd take her if i had one wish." It took Jonas a while to catch up to her words. His eyes were going way too slow, and his brain lagged behind because of that. In other words, she really was too hot to handle. Jonas was visually distracted easily. He watched her attempt to find her bikini top, still keeping his eyes on her. It was like if he looked away, she would be gone. Like he would wake up from a good dream. With Jude, it was always this type of thing where it would feel like it was in a dream. He decided to enjoy this one while it lasted. Wakeboarding could wait, couldn't it? "Mmm," Jonas merely said. There was no need to waste time with his words. Actions were way better. Whoever said that first must've been a genius.
Another wave came in soon, like the ocean wasn't done with its business. Jonas had, again, easily let it go by, while Jude wasn't doing too good with handling the waves. She ended up having to hold on to him, and Jonas laughed at his luck. "Yeah, I always thought that the water gods favored me," Jonas smiled. They were in the water; she was topless; and there must've been a bunch of eyes gazing at the sight. But then again, he didn't care. "You know, I think we should definitely celebrate this moment..." Jonas started to say, with a grin on his face. He winked at Jude.

When Jonas said his little thing about the water gods, her cheeks turned a bright, yet gorgeous pink. Guys flirted with her a lot, but Jonas really meant something to her. It was like if someone gave her a flower, thats nice. But if God sent it down from heaven to her, that was definitely more special. She was a very religious girl, after this whole thing with her sister. She thought about her little sis, Fawn for a second, then reality hit her. Jonas was flirting back! For once, besides her quality time with Rylet, she was actually enjoying time with her crush. Most of the time guys justblow her off for more easy girls, like Kayslee. "The gods, eh? Why thank you kind sir," she giggled. Stumbling over a rock on the ocean floor, falling into Jonas again.
Then, after his next comment and wink, she leaned into him. Close enough for their lips to touch. She could feel his warm breath spread across her face. Suddenly, she fell again. Only this time, it was onto his lips.

"I could tell from the look in her eyes, yeah, that's the kind of girl, yeah, that's the kind of girl that I would like to spend a night in the town with." Jonas was a flirt. He knew that, and he enjoyed that he could live with that. He didn't usually feel guilty about his actions with girls, except for the situation with Kayslee. But whatever happened with Kayslee, somehow he forgot about it when he was with Jude. He knew it was wrong and he knew he was really trying to make things right with Kayslee, but Jude was ... Jude.
He was always comfortable with her. She didn't hate him ever for moving away, and he could talk to her about anything. She was no Kayslee, but he didn't know if it was a good thing or a bad thing. There was nothing hard about being with Jude. She was an amazing friend, and not to mention a pretty fine-looking girl. He just didn't know if she liked him that way. Everyone was in love with Jude. She was a goddess. He always thought, even with all the flirting, Jude thought of him as a friend figure.
All those doubts and ancient thoughts of his friendship with Jude changed when she leaned in for that kiss. Whether it was an accident or not, it was a good thing. Definitely. He joined in the lock of the lips, not caring that they were in the water and it was a public beach. He pulled away for a second."You're a great kisser," he said, and leaned into her again.

To be completely honest with herself, Jude realized it had been an accident. Although it was an accident though, it was great one. Usually she was a clutz and made a fool out of herself when she tripped or something. But to her surprise, he kissed back. This kiss had definitely beaten her kiss with Rylet. After all, Jonas was her best friend. Rylet was just another cutie. As they kissed more, she felt something brush up against her leg, and turns out it was her top. She pulled back for a second while Jonas said something and she put her top back on. "Likewise," she giggled, then felt his body lean back in. Both of their bodies fit together like a puzzle piece. It was like they were made for each other. She just kept on kissing him, and he kissed back. It was positively magical, and she cherished that. Her hands were all over her back, as she wanted every inch of his body to herself. It was sort of awkward since they had always been best friends since 7th grade, but still, she loved it. And him.
She never realized that her top was not securely fastened, so it started to come off again. Jude soon realized this, and pulled it back on with out parting their lips. She never wanted this to end.

kaysleeSwear to shake it up if you swear to listen. Oh we're still so young, desperate for attention I aim to be your eyes Trophy boys, trophy wives. the past two days had been hell for kayslee carters. a guy she hadn't talked to in a year had shown up, and reinserted himself into her life instantly. no, jonas still had alot of making up to do, but as of right now things were civil-ish towards him from her. she had to get away from him yesterday, and had driven home instead of staying to talk to him more. she'd heard enough for a day. all she had wanted to do was curl up in her room and cry. she had gone through so many different emotional phases in the course of a couple of hours it was insane. first she was furious, then sad. then mad again, then forgiving. then sad. she couldn't help it, it was just how she worked.
and suprises of all suprises, she found herself out on the beach. she hadn't been here in a year, ever since jonas left. she was actually looking for her cousin, jude. she'd called her house, got her mom, who told her jude was at the beach. so getting over her past, kayslee had put on her white string bikini, piled her hair up in a loose messy bun at the crown of her head, and made her way to the beach in her mom's car. it only took a few minutes to reach the vast beach, and while she was parking, kayslee took her cell out, hoping to call her cousin later on. getting out of the car, she felt her sandaled feet hit the pavement and she stood.
a few moments later, she dialed the number while she walked across the beach. hearing jude's ring tone for her, she bit her lip and followed the sound. a little bit on, she found the phone with the rest of jude's stuff. raising her eyebrows slightly, she shielded her eyes and looked around the beach. hmm. no jude. taking a few steps over to the shore, she looked out into the water. the first person she saw was jude. jude's back was turned to her, and if she were any closer, she could see a boy with her. cupping her mouth with her hands, kayslee called out jude's name. the second the girl turned around, (sorry a little bit of power playing there xD) she froze.
kayslee felt her heart break instantly. she'd recognize him anywhere, anytime, any place. her eyes locked with jonas's as he looked where jude had looked, and kayslee's jaw set. biting her lip again, she turned around and started walking back over to her car.

"And I'm smooth with the words You're smooth with your curves, girl, yeah I speak so eloquently That you won't have a chance to deny me, yeah I could never leave a girl like you alone, whoa I could never leave a girl like you at home " Maybe they really weren't meant to be friends. They really didn't act like friends in the first place. There could've been a bit of chemistry to begin with. But Jonas always thought of Jude as a friend. He knew she was going to be there. But Jude was a pretty good-looking girl. And Jonas was a pretty good-looking guy. It was pretty cliche to say he couldn't help it, but it was true. Plus, Jude was pretty controlled with her emotions. He could trust her to like him one day, and still like him tomorrow. Jude was something.
He paused the lip lock for awhile to look at Jude again, this time not naked. "So I see you found it," Jonas laughed. All the half-nakedness had led to this moment. "Well, it was nice while it lasted." Strangely, he didn't feel weird about the whole situation. He did talk to Kayslee a few days before, but it seems like she didn't want him back. So hey. A guy's gotta do what a guy's gotta do. "So tell me. No other guy's doing whatever I'm doing?" It wasn't a serious question, but Jonas wanted to know. After all, if Jude was all that Jonas said she was, she would probably be taken right now by someone who hung on every word she said. He was sure that there were a bunch of guys who were trying to get to Kayslee, he figured it would be the same case for Jude.[/blockquote]

As Jonas joked about how her bikini top was back on, she giggled, "Oh! So you want it back off?" She didn't really mean it, but she wouldn't mind crawling into bed with him someday. This was definitely love that she felt for him, and always would be. Another wave calmly went by, and she felt the cool, rush of the water run through her spine. It immediately sent her brain cells ringing when Jonas asked her his next question. What was she supposed to say? But within seconds, she figured it out. "Well, to be honest..There sort of was another guy before you came back. Its Rylet," she paused, taking a deep, soothing breath, "I thought I'd never see you again, so I decided to just try and find someone else. But truth be told, you're the only one for me."
She stopped talking for him to say something. While Jude waited though, she lowered her head into the water, and came back up, letting all the water run down the back of her head. She was obviously trying to make her self look sexy...or sexier than she already was.

"You've got my head spinning Heart beating out of my chest I'm a sucker for lovers, for lovers" His heart might've sunk a bit. Of course someone was going to be with Jude since he was gone. He didn't want to interrupt anything they had going on, but still. He thought that Jude was really the girl. A minute ago he thought they weren't meant to be friends. But now, it seems like a lot of things weren't against them. Hm, Rylet. Jonas didn't recall knowing anyone named that. He decided he might as well inquire about this guy. See if he was any match against Jonas.
"So about this guy... nice name he's got. Almost like Piglet," Jonas joked. He didn't want to come off as sounding like he was jealous. But Jonas had never been used to not being number one when he tried to be number one. "He must be a pretty smokin' guy for you to finally forget about me. I mean, I am the only one, but I wanna know my own competition." He chuckled a bit. He watched her submerge in the water, and resurface. Just like The Dream said, shawty is a ten. He smiled on his luck. Jonas could possibly be, in some ways, the luckiest guy in the world. Or, in other case, the unluckiest guy, but it all kind of evened out in the end... or not, but whatever. Now was the only time that mattered.[/blockquote]

As Jonas talked about Rylet, she just sort of waded there in the water, and listened. She laughed hysterically though, when he called him Piglet. "Oh God Jonas. That was very sweet of you," she giggled. As he exclaimed about how Rylet was his competition, she just shook her head, no. Rylet had nothing against him, at all. Jonas was the sweetest, most good-looking, wonderful person she had ever come into contact with.
"You have no competition. And I know that this may sound quite cheesy, but you're my everything. Jonas," she stopped for a second or two to put her next words together in short, "I think I love you." Then she leaned towards Jonas, and pulled him in for another kiss. This one was definitely the most special of all of them.

you give me something that makes me scared, alright. this could be nothing, but I'm willing to give it a try. Jonas watched Jude's lips form a smile, and laugh. It was sort of a natural ability, him making people laugh. He enjoyed it, actually. He, too, found himself funny. He liked making people laugh, it made him feel like he had a bunch of friends through his words. Plus, it made him seem like he was the life of the party. Well, he wasn't really the life of the party. He was the party. At that thought, he grinned. Jonas was a conceited son, but he kind of had a right to be like that.
He enjoyed the next kiss. The guy took what he got, especially when it had to do with pretty girls. You could call him a player, but really, it wasn't like he really tried to be like that. The game came to him. He was famous, he was funny, and he was a loveable son. He didn't get any of those traits from his parents, but whoever gave it to him, he could thank that person a thousand times and it still wouldn't be enough. "Of course, babe," Jonas grinned cockily. "Everybody loves me. I'm kind of a big deal, aren't I?" He thought about his life. He thought about Jude. He thought about Kayslee. This didn't seem right, but it couldn't hurt anyone, could it? Nobody saw, nobody cared.[/blockquote]
