alyssa !deejay won't you play this girl a love song , Hey, do you guys have Spill Canvas music here? The brunette asked the tall man in front of the store. The man was busy tacking up a poster to a telephone pole just outside the stoor. The man was large, both height and width wise, and smelled like stale beer and fast food. He had what appeared to be a budding beard sprouting from his chin, with just as much hair sprouting from his filthy ears. His long black hair was tied into a sloppy ponytail taht was slicked back with either gel or grease. He had on a pair of old levi's slung half-heartedly over his mass thighs, held barely up by a plain brown belt. His greasy white tee shirt reminded Alyssa of one of her old boyfriends, whom worked at an auto shop. The man continued to act like he hadn't heard her, so she cleared her throat.
Excuse me? She looked at him, brows slightly furrowed. The man jabbed one last thick tack into the pole before wiping his hands on his jeans and facing her. What do you want? He demanded, jutting a thumb in her direction. Alyssa noted, to her disgust, he had hairy knuckles as well. No wonder why he was so bitter... Rolling her eyes lightly, she took a deep breath and exhaled through her nose. Spill Canvas...? She asked again, fighting the urge to shout it to make sure he heard her this time... She bit her lip as he looked at the store, obviously looking over a mental layout of fye. Yeah, I think we have one or two left. Back. He mumbled, waving his hand in the general direction.
Alyssa stuffed her hands in the tight pockets of her skinny jeans and walked towards the door, using her shoulder and elbow to shove the heavy door open. Running a hand through her thick hair, she made her way towards the back of the store. As she looked through the rows and rows of CD's, catching her reflection in their covers. She absentmindedly pulled the sleeve of her tank top back onto her shoulder as it slipped down her arm.
Finding the CD she was looking for, she slid it out of the rack and examined the list of songs on the back. It wasn't exactly the one she was looking for, but it would have to do...

caspian leggos ,DARLING YOU GIVE LOVE A BAD NAME ,______________________________
Caspian had been having what you could refer to as The Beatles would, a hard day's night. Okay, a hard day's night would have been a slight exageration of correct terminology for a hang over, but that was besides the point. There were two things Caspian was not. An avid-drinker, and an ass-hole. But mixing the two together, you got something every unlike him. With a hint of alcohol in his blood line, you would not think you were talking to the same person. Doing things like being extremely loud, a little agressive, and a little too blunt for his own good were basically the things that Caspian found himself doing while under the influence. After stumbling into his dorm at around four thirty A.M. last night or you could call it morning, Caspian found himself pressing snooze not only once but three times when it came time for his first class. shitt he mumbled under his breath when he noticed that it was eight A.M. and his first class began at seven thirty. As he rose from the linen filled bed he went over to his closet picked out the first thing he saw and changed into without even getting a chance to shower. Luckily, he wasn't one of those men who had disgusting sweating problems and was constantly sweating. And he had showered before going to the party anyways.
All through out class he couldn't focus his attention on one thing. ADD was supposed to be his brother's thing but today it was his. Which was odd to say the least. For he had been majoring in rehab counseling while reserving his minors in psychology it had never failed to amuse him. In the two years he had attended these classes weekly there had never been on that he wasn't in one way or another intrigued by. Rehab counseling and psychology were two things that he had loved ever since he was young. Not young, young but in his teenage years. Caspian went through his party boy stage but never once did he touch a drug. That, in his eyes, was the worst thing any human could possibley do. Not only were they illicit, but they never brough good upon people. Addiction was fascinating to study, and Caspian would love to attempt to help all addicts. A part of him didn't even want to pay attention in class because he felt he knew how to help people on his own. caspian,, what would you prescribe that patient? he was immediatly startled by. God, had he really spent the whole class so spaced out to have the vaguest idea as to what the professor had been talking about? But out of the complete blue he had been saved by the bell. Not even making eye contact with his professor he rose from the audotorium seat, grabbed his notebook, and left.
The day couldn't have been more beautiful. It wasn't really like there was ever a bad day in California, but with the recent fires that had taken over almost of souther California made the days unbearable. You coudn't go outside in some areas without a facial mask, nor could you leave the windows open anywhere. Thank God those fires had been put out. Pondering many thoughts as to what he could do for the rest of the day he decided to go down to the Blvd. there was always something going on down there, whether it was a fair or just simply taking a walk down the loaded streets. After going into a few surf shop's and grabbing a coffee he decided to cross over Avenue A and head into the music store. He wasn't really a CD type of guy, he was more technological and liked MP3 better, but it was something to do. A smirk appeared across his face as he saw the silhouette of a very familiar female that was none other than his fiance. So maybe Caspian didn't listen to many CD's but he knew good music. Grabbing the first good CD he saw, which was Beck he came up to her side and handed her the CD, better choice if i do say so myself. He greeted. While he had been pondering the thought of calling Alyssa didn't cross his mind. It wasn't like he wasnt't thinking about her, because he pretty much always did, but for some reason it just didn't and it had pretty much enlighted his do to see her. how are you? didn't think i'd run into you here he questioned.

alyssa !SHE REALLY NEEDS TO HEAR THIS FREAKIN' LOVE SONG ,___________________________ As Alyssa opened the CD's case, careful to not let the worker see her as she did so. No, she wasn't going to steal it. But she had gotten shouted at before for ripping the sealing and opening the CD. She always had to see what the CD looked like, it was a strange habit for her. And when Lyssa couldn't find the one she was looking for, it made her upset. They claimed to have the most CD's in this part of California, but they didn't. She wondered how they could call themselves something like that, when there were about fifty artists she had to buy online from or import. Music was Alyssa's life, that was why she got upset anytime she couldn't find a certain thing at this store. She and her sister used to come here alot, before they both moved out. Well, before her sister became a pod person. Now Emily lived in New York, and Alyssa in California. They couldn't be further apart. Music was either number two or three, behind her friends, and fiance of course. Caspian was everything to her. Hell, they fought a whole lot, but they always made up. She couldn't stay mad at him when he kissed her. She just couldn't. They'd been engaged for over a month, and Alyssa had had this nonstop feeling of butterflies in her stomach. Atleast his parents loved her, and her mom loved him. It worked, which was suprising for her. But in a good way.
Everyone thought they were great together. And they should, since they'd been together since... For nine months? Around that. They had broken up and gotten back together billions of times. Normally in the same day. It was just how they worked together. One minute they couldn't stand eachother, the next they were all over eachother. It made Aly slightly nervous about getting married. You couldn't break up and get back together when you were married. Alyssa was worried that she'd end up being one of those physco wives who drove for hours to 'cool down' and get away from him. She didn't even know why she had said yes. Yes, she loved him, but she wasn't sure she was so ready to not fight. It scared the crap out of her, actually. They'd both been working at not fighting lately, but it was really hard. When she wasn't kissing or in his arms, she found him to be annoying at times. And he found her annoying at times. But they still cared about eachother.
As the familiar voice spoke up, and a CD was stuck out in front of her, she took it with one hand and turned her head to look at him. She smiled and looked down at it, flipping it over to read the back. Snapping it open, breaking yet another plastic wrapping, she looked at the CD, shrugged and handed it back to him. Yeah? She asked, another hint of a grin coming over her face. Using her free hand to grab his, she laced her fingers with him. She had on her ring, like she always did. She never took it off, ever. Alyssa was afraid that she might loose it if she did. She couldn't keep track of anything, and Caspian would know that too. She would feel horrible for loosing it, so she kept it on. That, and she liked it. She liked the feeling of everyone knowing, too. I'm fine. Lyss replied, sliding the SC CD back into the case, shut it, and slid it back onto the shelf. I'm hungry. Want to get something to eat?

caspian leggos ,SHOT TO THE HEART, AND YOUR TO BLAME ,______________________________
When Caspian had first met Alyssa, there was that little voice in the back of his head. It was constantly telling him he wasn't good enough, and other things contradicting that they could never make it. And when they seemed to be fighting more than just often he felt that maybe the voice was right. Well, that only lasted about five minutes until they were already making up. The fights tended to be over something completely ridiculous, which in a way was good. It was better to have stupid little fights, than huge blow out fights. As time passed Caspian finally was happy with where he was, and he wasn't constantly worried that he wasn't good enough. Because from the looks of it, he was.
Within nine months Caspian knew a very lot about Alyssa. As much as he did know he still didn't know everything, which was good. Some people wanted to know literally every single thing about the person they were with but Caspian wasn't like that. Not only was he not like that, but he had learned about it in psychology class. When you know every detail about someone. When you can read their actions before they even happen, that was not good. For one reaon, as professor Donelly told the class. You are never suprised, and there is no mystery. When there was still so much more to learn about someone or something, you would always be intrigued and always wanting to know more. That was something Caspian especially loved about Alyssa. He knew her well enough, and he knew when she was happy and sad, and he knew allot of things about her. But he didn't know everything. Which was perfect, especially accoring to Dr. Donelly.
yeah, maybe i can just get you it for Christmas or something
he said with a small laugh following. He was going to get her more than a CD for Christmas, without a doubt. Caspian picked up the CD that Alyssa had just put down. Spill Canvas, actually it was a band he wasn't so familiar with. He had heard some of their songs, mainly because Alyssa liked them. But other than that he didn't know of them. His music taste was really all American boy-ish. He loved Nickelback, Tom Petty, The Eagles, and Beck, like he picked up. Beck actually wasn't very all American. But they were amazing, they were probably the newest band that Caspian listened to. As he examined the back of the CD he looked for maybe one song he knew, and get a better idea of Spill Canvas, but there wasn't one. i have no idea what any of this is he said with a slight laugh. As he placed the CD back down he shrugged lightly. I guess he'd just have to look into them another time. Holding onto her hand lightly he lead her out of the music shop and back out onto the Blvd. (ooc; sorry tried not to power play, but i kinda didd =p) have you done anything exciting at all today? he asked her curiously. Classes seriously sucked, and he would have much rather been out all day than to be sitting in a stuffy auditorium. But instread of reaping on it, he got over it, and was just happy to be outta there. Luckily, the coffee and daylight seemed to be acting as the perfect cure to his hangover. yeah, i actually am pretty hungry. where do you wanna go? it's up to you?. He asked her. Caspian really could be the perfect gentleman. Never in a million years would he do anything to distreat a woman, no matter who she be. [/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

alyssa !SHE'S LOOKIN' AT ME KINDA HARD, I CAN TELL THINGS AIN'T RIGHT ON THE HOME FRONT ,___________________________ Alyssa smiled as he sugested getting it for her for christmas. Or something. She confirmed, leaning against the rack of CD's. She still had no clue what she'd get him, and it was nearly mid-december. All she knew, was that she had to get him something really really really special. Something that meant something to him. To them as a couple, really. Which was definately going to be hard to pick out. Money wouldn't be a problem, she'd saved up a whole lot of money from her parents. And along with her part time job as an intern, she'd get him something great. She'd probabaly end up getting him something more expensive then she meant originally, but wouldn't care if he liked it. It would be their first christmas together, and she didn't want to blow it.
Then maybe I'll have to get it for you sometime. She replied, grinning again. They joked around all the time, and this was no different. Knowing Cas, he'd probabaly hate them. She played them in her car alot, and they'd have arguements over music when they were driving together. Caspian wanted to play a certain CD which Alyssa hated, and vice versa. That was just one example of the tiny fights they got in. It would normally end in Caspian kissing her to make up, or Alyssa making up some other way. As much as they fought, other times they got along really well. When they were in good moods, they could be very sweet together, the exact cliche of people in love.
She let him lead her out, silently saying goodbye to the man who was still trying to staple the poster up. When her feet hit the warm pavement of the concrete sidewalk, he spoke. As they walked hand and hand down the boardwalk, she bit her lip. If you call staying at home all day until now exciting, then absolutely. She answered him, looking at their feet as they walked. She squeezed his hand. What about you? Alyssa asked, feeling it was the right thing to do. She stopped walking and leaned upwards to kiss him on the cheek. Pulling away right after, she took his hand again and started walking.
Whatever we see first is fine, She responded, running her free hand through her hair. As they passed a local resteraunt, she tugged him inside.

caspian leggos ,ALL THE ROADS WE WALK ARE WINDING ,______________________________
Apparently Alyssa did know Capian very well. Well enough to know that he would never in a million years get her just CD for Christmas. Maybe he would burn her a CD with all of their songs on it, now that would be the romantic side of Caspian. But he wouldn't just give her the CD, it would probably come along with something she would love. That was kind of a hard thing to decide on though, there was so many things that girls wanted these days, yet it was so hard to find the right thing. He could always go with jewlery, but that was very cliche. Well there were a couple of weeks, he would just have to go on and ask one of his sisters for advice. That was one of the up's of having three sisters. Sure, they could be annoying as hell, and tend to get on his nerves when they attempted to be over-protective of him, but they meant well. And no matter how annoying they could be, he saw the positive aspect of it. you need to tell my what you want.. i've been thinking and you have everything i would want to get you. He told her truthfully. Jewlery=engagement right, Clothes=he had bought her plenty in the past. That was when he got the idea. or we can get outta town, over break, now that would be a good gift, and very beneficial to both me and you. He said with an accomplished looking grin on his face.
In all honesty, Caspian wouldn't care if Alyssa got him anything at all. His family came from money but he wasn't one to ask for allot. He went through a phase when he was in high-school where he adored his families money, but not anymore. It was nice to have, and know that it was there to fall back on, not only to fal back on, but it was a state of stableness that could be needed at any given point. Maybe when he was older he would take on the family buisness but as of now, he left that to his brother and did his own thing. It got his parents mad allot of the time, but he didn't care. It was his life, and just because they loved theirs and thought if Caspian lived the way they did he'd be happy, he knew what made him happy. And it wasn't their way. you really don't have to get me anything..
. He said to her, but he knew that she would despite what he told her. anyways, i have you, and that's enough for me. Hah, he kind of felt like a girl, singing "all i want for christmas is you" but he meany what he said. And it wasn't just sweet talking. Listening to her attentively as she spoke he comprehended it all. i wish my day was that exciting, believe it or not. He said, he would have much rather sat home all day than go to class. But a guy had to do what a guy had to do. i kind of had a bad day until now, i was out way to late last night, so i woke up late, and feeling like shit, and then i had class which i could not get myself to pay attention in for the life of me, but like i said, until now. He said glancing down at her. He wasn't extemely tall probably about 6'0 but she was a very petite girl. A smile was played across his features at the touch of her lips on his cheek. Reading the signs of the various stores and restaurants on the Blvd. he remembered back to when he was little. His mother and father would take the six kids out here every Sunday. How they manages six young children was beyond him, but he loved it. He had actually had quite an amazing childhood. sounds good to me. He said. Following her lead he stepped into the restaurant. That hadn't taken long at all. i don't think in all of my years in Manhattan i have ever been in here. He said as he looked around at the very unfamiliar place. two, please He said with a nod to the waiter. [/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

alyssa !DEEJAY PLAY THAT GIRL A LOVE SONG ,___________________________ As they walked along the boardwalk, she listened to him speak. Alyssa laughed lightly. You don't have to get me anything else. You already got me the ring. She assured him, smiling. She felt it would be greedy to ask for anything else, especially when just a month ago he'd given her a very expensive ring. Besides, he bought her stuff all the time. He spoiled her beyond belief. He always paid for anything they did, clothes she wanted, things like that. She had no idea what to get him, because she didn't think he'd like something like cologne or something. She wanted to get him something special, or do something special for him. She'd even thought about making some special present for him, but thought against it.
As he spoke, she felt a wave of relief cross over her. They could go somewhere insanely expensive, and both pay for it so it worked. A wide grin crossed over Alyssa's face as she looked up at him. Again, there was a slight height difference... He had a good foot on her, actually. She was short for her age- she couldn't help it. That sounds perfect. She said, genuinely excited for the idea. Where would we go, though? Somewhere far, far, far away from here. She added, biting her lip softly. This sounded much better than spending Christmas with her mother, high strung sister, and two nightmares of her brothers.
She shrugged her shoulders as he said she didn't have to give him anything. Alyssa would end up getting him something, or doing something special for him. As he spoke, she looked at him as they walked. That's sweet. She told him, leaning against him gently for a few moments, falling in step besides him. This was what she loved about him. One minute, due to a combination of things- the weather, if he was hungry or not, if he was tired or not, if he was hung over or not, etc- he could be an asshole. But the next, he could be the sweetest, most perfect boyfriend Aly could ever ask for.
Alyssa laughed. It sucked that bad? She questioned him, a smirk curling over her features. She used her free hand to tuck a strand of hair behind her ear before turning her attention back to him as they climbed the short flight of stairs into the resteraunt. I'm sorry, baby. She said now that they were inside the resteraunt. Alyss slid her arms around his neck, leaning her head sideways against his chest as he continued to talk.
Me neither. It's nice though, She noted, looking around the quaint resteraunt. By the atmosphere to it, it looked like a pub or sandwhich place.

caspian leggos ,DARLING YOU GIVE LOVE A BAD NAME ,______________________________
Rolling his sapphire blue eyes at her, he let out a sarcatic laugh. He didn't really expect her to say that, and although he could see where she was comming from saying it, there was no way he wasn't getting her anything. It was an expensive ring, and he couldn't really afford it, that was one time he did indeed take money from his parents. It wasn't a massive amount, not to them atleast, and he had full intentions on paying them back. yeah right.. that's different, it's not like it was a gift gift, and either way i'm getting you something for Christmas
he told her like it was something he had to do otherwise he'd die. Whatever she said wasn't going to matter to him, he was getting her something and it would be an amazing gift. The thought of a vacation was simply amazing. No parents, not that they were constantly around, no school, and that stress you are engaged with when you are home is completely gone. Not only that, but his first real vacation alone with Alyssa was bound to be enchanted. That would be all he could want for Christmas and then some more. well i'm happy you agree. He said with a smile. It would have sucked if she didn't want to go away for break. But he'd live, just probably go around brooding. deffinetly far... He said while laughing and pondering where they could go. we could go somewhere with snow, since it's christmas, or just an even hotter place than here.. i don't even care, just somewhere we could have fun, and that's fine with me. He told her although, he was pretty sure they could have fun anywhere they went. As she leaned against him he burried his head ontop of hers and kissing her forehead lightly. Caspian could be really sweet when he wanted to be. Actually, he pretty much always wanted to be. Unless he was drunk, and tended to turn into a giant asshole. But he always tried to treat woman properly. His father did, and he and his mother were always happy together, and hardly ever fought. That was the relationship that he looked up to, and hoped to one day have. Have with not only anyone but with Alyssa. it's the truth too. He said with a smile, but he was pretty positive she knew it was the truth. He wasn't a liar, never had been. Nodding intentively he had basically proved his statement by his gestures alone. yeah, it was horrible, he was talking about all this crap i already knew, and then he tried to ask me abuot it like i had no idea, but i was saved by the bell He explained. Just like in the show, before the bad even came, there was the bell! Professor's like that pissed Caspian off, just because they had their PhD they thought they were superior. Okay, they kind of were, but he wasn't a dumb kid, that's for sure. i lived, so it's cool. He said as she wrapped his muscular arms around her tiny waist, placing yet another kiss on top of her head. You could say that they were a pretty PDA couple, but they just had to get their affection out, and Caspian didn't really care what people thought. When they reached the table he pulled out the chair for his fiance and then sat down once she got seated. yeah it does, i hope the foods as good as the place looks He said as he took a menu and began skimming through it. [/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

alyssa !SHE REALLY REALLY NEEDS TO HEAR THIS FREAKING LOVE SONG ,___________________________ Alyssa smiled softly as he laughed. She raised her eyebrows while listening to him. Really. Well then I'm getting you something too. She told him firmly, their eyes locking. Maybe she could get him a gift certificate somewhere... No, that wasn't personal enough. At all. She had to try harder than that. Hmm, maybe she could make him a huge card or something. She'd seen that on a ton of shows. Plus something else of course, but that was more heartfelt then just swiping her credit cards somewhere. Or she could get him cologne. But that was a little played out and cliched. No, Alyssa wanted it to be really special.
Spending Christmas with Caspian? It sounded wonderful. And she felt that if she said she hadn't wanted to, he'd do that broody thing of his. It was when he started getting grumpy and sullen. It pissed the hell out of her. She liked it better when he smiled. Very far away. Like, out of the country where my parents can't find me. She added, smirking. She'd go anywhere that her mom couldn't get ahold of her. And she'd have fun going any place with Cas, she always did. Unless they were fighting... But since that lasted all of ten minutes, it wouldn't be that hard to work out. Knowing them as a couple, they'd fight atleast twice on the plane ride, and more on the vacation.
We could always go to some skiing lodge or something like that. She suggested, shrugging. That sounded nice enough, since it was Christmas. She could ski okay, thanks to tons of lessons when she was younger. She'd normally fly to Colorado with her family every winter break, but the plans could change for Cas. They would change for Cas. You can ski, right? She asked, not sure. Otherwise going to a lodge wouldn't be too fun... Lucky. Atleast you don't have my professor. She's a freaking bitch. She told him, rolling her eyes. Her professor was a bitch, too. She always assigned them armloads of work, and failed Alyssa for everything. Alyssa used to study for hours for tests, but it hadn't made a difference. So she gave up and used the time for studying with Cas or hanging out with Cecilie.
She grinned again as he wrapped her in his arms. She leaned her head against his shoulder, since she wasn't near tall enough to lean against his head. As he kissed her head, she looked up at him, and kissing him on the lips. Pulling away after, she let her feet go flat on the floor again. She followed the waiter behind Caspian and sat in her seat after he pulled the chair out for her. It smells good, She added, looking at the menu in front of her.

caspian leggos ,GIVING IT AWAY LIKE IT'S EXTRA CHANGE ,______________________________
Instead of trying to sit there and argue Alyssa over the present situation, which he was tempted to do, he chose against it. The truth behind the matter was that most of their fights probably did arise from things like this, considering were meaningless and none the less simply pitiful. Caspian had been thinking about that allot lately. It wasn't like he wanted to take back his proposal, but he just worried that they might continue to fight, and that wouldn't be good. So maybe if he was a little more leniant and not so prominient then that could be a big start. like.. oh my gawd, we can just get each other clothesss!
. He said in a very fifteen year old feminine voice. It had clearly been a joke on his behalf, and hopefully a scapecoat of a hopefully non-existent arguement. At a very young age the Leggos family started jet setting. Spero Leggos, his father, probably worked a maximum of ten years out of his entire life before turning into multi-millionaire. There were a few reasons for his avid sucess. The Leggos family was 50% Italian and 50% Greek. Father from Italy, and mother from Greece. They had both met when they came here from their native countries, and it was when like wasn't really all that easy for foreigners. So when they arrived and met, and after falling inlove, they knew they had to find a way to survive. Money, it was what you needed. After comming here, it seemed like Speros life savings were just gone, so he started to go into the Tool and Die company, and worked his ass off for about three yeads before Leggos Carbide was a US top tool and die manufacturer. Caspian on the other hand started saving up when he was young, and although hald of his profits were this father's they weren' tall his. It was nice that he could afford to take him and Alyssa on vacation, without the burden of paying them back. well if you want to go out of the country, then i say somewhere warm, because if we wanted to go somewhere cold we could just go to colorado or something... He started explaining and thinking of a good spot. i heard the dominican republic is gorgeous, and i've actually never been there, that could be fun. He suggested, but when it came down to it he could care less about where they went, and just looked forward to their time togethere there. well if your mom knew you were with me, do you honestly think she'd call that much?. He asked with a slight laugh, he was almost 100% positive that her mother loved him and trusted her with him, so that was a plus. or we can do that too, i think this is honestly the one time i could care less about where we go, aslong as we get away, it should all be good he said with a shrug. Whatever was truly fine with him. Sometimes he would tell little white lies to cover up his anger, but he told her this in all honesty, and made it was belivable as possible. of course i can ski, i really can't see you skiing though. He said with a devious grin. In his eyes Alyssa was quite the girly-girl, and he did not picture girls like that being active sports and athletics wise, but you never know, people prove you wrong constantly. i'd rather have a bitch than an asshole who thinks he knows everything, guy teachers just suck.. period. He said adminatly. It was true though, guy teachers thought they had supreme authority, and sure most teachers did, but male teachers flaunted it, and it was really annoying. Caspian nodded his head slowly in agreement with Alyssa as he scanned the menu. It was quite the wide variety.
